So here is "Geraniums" and I hope one can make out the flowers. The leaves I think are right out there along with the pot. I'm done, I know I'm done and this painting is out drying in the living room because it's a larger one and it needs the air and space. I used like three large tubes of oil on it, so it's quite thick with paint. The process was so much fun because it was like moving around frosting on a cake and I could make little divots and lines like the veins on the leaves. The petals on the flowers are raised up on the sides; very lifelike, though really not because after all this is a flat painting.
So voila! I am happy with this piece and so am doing another beginning. Goldie has reminded me about the painting that is hanging in the bathroom of a small little insignificant black bird. Now when was a black bird so unimportant she asks.
